Welcome to the Scene! - (75-90 min)
Kink 101 - an Intro to BDSM/Kink/Fetish and all that! ~ This
presentation is designed with the newer kinkster in mind. Whether they are
entering the scene with both feet, or just simply want to learn one or two new
tricks for their bedroom play; this class covers the basic tenets for people who
want to grasp the philosophy and reasons behind bringing kink into their
relationship. We will include definitions of BDSM, Modes of play, the 7 steps
to scene creation and completion, etiquette within BDSM, basic techniques of
play and aftercare, including sub-drop and top-drop. It is a fun, and
informative, non-threatening class for everyone.
The Fine Art of Negotiation - (75-90 min)
A Top and bottom’s guide to getting what you want! ~ Asking for
what you want is not always easy, getting it can be even more difficult.
Negotiation in the BDSM setting, is a key to the mutual creation of great
scenes. In this class, we will talk about the initial and ongoing precepts to this
essential piece of interpersonal exchange. We will cover strategies for
successful communication to secure your desires – including tools for
developing personal limits and boundaries, understanding the differences
between needs, wants & desires; and being able to talk about yours, mutual
seduction, raising anticipatory energy, using intuition, practice techniques (in
BDSM and Vanilla environments), initial contacts and what to do when
negotiations break down.
